Le Pilgrimage Noir (The Black Journey) is Cleveland's premier African American focused professional singing ensemble.  Directed by North Church's music director, Dwight Fleming, a fine opera trained tenor in his own right.   Dwight brings a strong focus on the diaspora of 20th century classic African American selections and unusual spirituals.   And reminding audiences of historic role of African American performers in opera and Broadway.   The ensemble has performed at the Cleveland Museum of Art, Severance Hall and numerous area churches.
